For the women diagnosed with breast cancer resulting depression is easy to understand. Breast cancer is a very scary and life altering event. It would be surprising if some depression didn't occur. Well said. Depression is a common reason for any kind of disease and with being it a cancer, it is even more difficult to avoid the depression that it will bring to the person. But it is still important to overcome all that pain.
